The Journey of My Career as a Pet Photographer

Moving forward I will be telling stories as I remember them and not in chronological order….

Back in 2021 I met Reny (picture above).  I travel to Brooklyn to take his photo for Instagram and as

I put my mat on the floor and lay down this goofy boy just lay down right in front of me with a beautiful smile and crossed legs, none of this was plan or staged. It just happened and turned out to be such a fabulous photo. In fact, it was my first photo to surpass 2,000 likes on Instagram and it was so easy to photograph this boy that I believe he is the only pup of whom I have taken a single shot!

At that time I was running all over the Burroughs sometimes walking around 4 miles a day just photographing pups to post on Instagram. I slowly started getting new followers and new clients. Its was awesome as I got to learn so much about the different neighborhoods, train routes etc.

That was also the year when my brother once again had the brilliant idea of designing my yoga mat with my branding.  The first one was yellow, then we change to black and yellow. Stay tune as the new one is coming up in the next few weeks.  This mat helps me immensely as people passing can get my information as I continue working!
